Hey Everybody,

A couple of days after the last Wicked show in Holland was played, I feel I should write a few words and look back on a great time.

Since I've had so many sweet responses, visits and gifts from people outside of The Netherlands, I thought it would be a good idea to start writing these little notes on the ‘personal'-page in English. Not sure how long I'll keep this up, but I'll give it a try anyway.

Well, it's been a wonderful Wicked ride, the past 16 months. It was a great experience to play such a rich part full of vocal and acting challenges. I've learn a lot about myself as an actress, a singer and as a person. And I've learned so much from my talented colleagues I had the pleasures of working with. I have definitely been changed for the better. ;-) On the 9^thof January I played my last show and I'm very glad I could end it with a great one. And who knows, between now and several years maybe the paths of the green girl and me may cross again..

As you can see, for now, I've donated my broom to a good cause.

Thank you all very much for your kind responses on the show and my participation in it. I may not have replied to all of your e-mails, tweets or letters, but you can be assured, I've read them all, and I am grateful about you taking the time to send them to me.

Hopefully we'll meet again. I'll do my best to keep playing beautiful parts with as must passion as I played Elphaba, the green witch. Remember to keep following your dreams and keep believing in yourself. With that in mind, I'm closing this chapter, and starting a new one, hopefully defying gravity in new ways.
